Welcome to the Alumni section of the Abintra web site. Whether you are near or far away, you are an important part of the Abintra Community and we want to stay in touch. Sophie Diehl (Abintra Class 2006) attends Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). Sophie graduated from Hume Fogg Magnet High School in Nashville. She is a visual artist who began pursuing that passion while a student at Abintra. She is pursuing an engineering degree.
Ryman Lloyd, (Abintra Class 2005) is an award-winning video editor with a passionfor creating mash-up trailers. As a student at Nashville School of the Arts, Ryman won several High School Emmys (NATAS) for his video editing.
Kate Mason (Abintra Class 2004) is one of twelve students nationwide chosen by the School for International Study for a cultural immersion program. Kate spent six months in Accra, Ghana, then returned to her classes at University of Southern California.
Edward Nesbitt (Abintra Class 2006), is among the first class of students in the
new Next Steps program at Vanderbilt University. Next Steps is a 2-year certification program for students with intellectual disabilities, providing individualized Programs of Study in the areas of education, social skills, and vocational training.
Jake Orrall and Jamin Orrall (Abintra Classes 2000 and 2003, respectively) made
the cover of Nashville Scene for their music as JEFF the Brotherhood. Their rock album HeavyDays was chosen a Top Album of the year by the Scene. They recently appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show to promote new work. They also started the record label Infinity Cat while Jamin was a student at Abintra.
Justine Orrall (Abintra Class 2005) After graduating from Abintra, Justine attended
Hillsboro High School Honors Arts Programs. Following her high school graduation, Justine studied photography at the Pratt Institute in New York and is continuing her art studies at the Art Institute of Chicago.
