As our “Spring Break” ends Davidson County is now on Safer at Home status, and we continue to follow reliable news sources as we navigate the pandemic. During this time, I hope that you are also finding moments of joy and hope – being outside with your child, cooking a meal together, calling family and vulnerable community members.
Our primary goal as we mindfully safeguard our community with physical distancing, is to maintain connection. Parents and guides know from experience how important it is to incorporate self-care before we are able to care for others. Toward this end, Emi and Molly are available to support parents directly in talking to their children and with any parenting questions as you are all home together.
Your guides will reach out to you individually early this week to connect, and we will send specific information about continuing education from home by mid-week. Faculty and staff will be actively working from home, and we will respond to emails and voice mails. We are grateful that we are all part of the Abintra community. We will communicate with you and your child regularly.
Always looking forward.
